a new website for the embedded system engineers
Honolulu, Hawaii, U.S.A., August 4, 2003 - Upwind Technology, Inc., the
leader in embedded GNU software development technology, today announced
www.embedded.jp - a new website for the embedded system engineers in Japan.
"There are many website for the embedded system engineers in Japan.
And most of websites provide only news with them. But it's not the true
that they really want to know only news. I can know what they want, what
they want to know, what they want to see, what they want to use etc. Because
I'm still one of embedded system engineer. So, we decided that we provide
the useful information to the embedded system engineers in Japan. www.embedded.jp
provide not only the useful information, but also some mailing list. In
addition to them, we provide GNUWing(TM) which we announced on August 4,
2003 through www.embedded.jp.
So, www.embedded.jp will be the most valuable website for the embedded
system engineers in Japan.", said Kenichi Nakamura, president of Upwind

www.embedded.jp provide the following three contents.

About GNUWing(TM)
GNUWing(TM) is a new GNU distribution specifically designed for embedded
development such as usual RTOS systems and embedded GNU/Linux systems.
GNUWing include GNU binary utility, GNU compiler collection, GNU debugger
and newlib, open source library. It support lots of architecture such as
PowerPC, MIPS, SH, ARM and so on. There are three edition for GNUWing(TM).
They are FTP edition, package edition and commercial support edition.
